I
am looking forward to an exciting year in art class! Middle School students,
whether you have art class first semester or second; bring your supplies the
first day of school to give to your homeroom teacher. They do not have to be
labeled.
I
am looking for a secondhand sewing machine of the simplest kind for the art
room. I am hoping to find a plain machine that sews regular stitches, forward
and backward. If any family has upgraded to a fancy sewing machine and has a
simple one to donate, give me a call or send me a message. Thank you for your
consideration!
If
you have the time or opportunity, please visit the art room with your child’s
class this year. Students love to have visitors and you can even participate in
our lesson.
We
will begin the year with our annual first project, the tiny self portrait class
sets. Look for them in the hallway between the health room and the
administrative office.
