We started out our morning with Calendar work and
a spelling test. There is no spelling next week. In phonics today we learned
about vowel digraph (ea). A vowel digraph is two letters together that stand
for one vowel sound. The vowel sound can be long or short, or have a special
sound of its own. In math today we
learned more about place value using base ten blocks. This week we will be finishing
reading assessments. The students are showing great jumps and leaps in reading
this quarter. I am very proud of them. If you have any TCS library books at
home please send them to school with your child. A note will be going home
today informing which books your child has checked out. We will not be checking
out any more books. Only a few more
days left in the school!!!!!!! If you any questions over summer reading please
contact me. Have a great day!
Thank you for your participation and support for the 17th
annual poetry tea. It wouldn’t have been a success with out you. I would like
to give a special thanks to Diana Larson,

If you have any questions I would encourage you to contact me. Also if there is any more information you need, or if there are classroom situations that you are curious about you may either E-mail me, write a note and send it with your child, or come in and see me. I am always in my classroom by 8:00 a.m. unless we have a scheduled meeting. I am looking forward to hearing from you throughout the year.
