Class- Students will work in break out sessions to create culture qualities lists related to the Olmec, Maya, and Moundbuilders on North America.

Hohokam Arose around 300 BC Lived in the American southwest Used extensive irrigation Traded widely

Anasazi Arose around 100 AD Lived in areas of present day Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico Mainly agricultural

Moundbuilders Built large earthen structures Two oldest groups are Adena and Hopewell Adena Hopewell Arose around 400 BC Mississipian Arose around 800 AD
