Teacher Note: I will be representing Topeka Collegiate School at next week’s Kansas Council for the Social Studies annual conference on Thursday, November 1, in Manhattan. I will showcase our school’s use and development of the Bill of Rights Institute’s curriculum. The Bill of Rights Institute is an award-winning non-profit organization that fosters the appreciation and understanding of the Bill of Rights in our most important resource, our children. Therefore, my parent teacher conference hours are slightly altered to accommodate this important opportunity for our school. If for any reason these hours are not compatible, please do not hesitate to contact me to arrange an alternate meeting time. I apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
