1) Explain how Pres. Jackson’s “war” on the national bank illustrated his belief in democracy and the “common” man.

3) Why did Southerners object to the “tariff of abominations”?

4) Do you think it was right for Pres. Jackson to require Native Americans in the South to either adopt white ways
