Students competed at the Northeast Kansas Association of Teachers of Mathematics-sponsored SUMDay on March 28 at Washburn Rural Middle School. Students who placed include: Mira Ram, second in geometry; Laura Nicolae, first in number sense and second in geometry; Irene Nicolae, first in number sense and second in geometry; Josh Greene, first in number sense and geometry; Alec Berryman, third in number sense; Alix Welch, second in geometry; and Cain Mathis, third in geometry.
