Topeka — About 60 new citizens were sworn in Friday.

Topeka Collegiate students started off the ceremony with songs, then the new citizens took the oath of allegiance and said the Pledge of Allegiance.

Honorable Julie A. Robinson presided the naturalization ceremony.
