Students Shine at District History Day! |

Topeka Collegiate students had at least one entry in each of seven categories at district History Day competition, giving them the potential for 13 first or second-place awards. Of the 13 possible, they claimed nine. In addition, TCS students won four honorable mentions at the February 25 contest at Washburn University. What a wonderful culmination of months of hard work! This year’s theme is “Taking a Stand: People, Ideas, Events. Here are the projects that were given special recognition at district competition:
