Extended Day Care Program

The Extended Day Care Program provides care in a safe, nurturing environment for Topeka Collegiate Students who are in need of supervision before and after school. Before-school Care is available from 7:15 to 8:15 every day that school is in session. After-school Care is available from 3:45 to 5:45 every day that school is in session a full day. In addition to before and after-school care, the Extended Day Program offers child care on many days when school is not in session.

Before-School Care

Before-school Care ensures that students start their school day off right! It is a time for students to fully wake up, socialize with friends, and engage in quiet, low key activities such as reading, writing, drawing, academically-focused computer time, cards, board games, and puzzles. They may also finish and/or check over homework if necessary.

After-School Care

After-school Care ensures that students end their school day off right! It is a time for students to enjoy a healthy snack, play and socialize with friends, utilize academic time to complete homework, and to participate in structured free time activities.

Half and Full-Day Care

Child Care available on half- and full-days not only ensures that students have a safe and nurturing place when they are out of school, but it also provides them with a day full of activities that will allow them to have fun, learn, and explore.
