Diversity
Beginning on April 16 through May 11 our School community will participate in the AIM Climate Survey. This online survey will help us to:
- Gather information on our school's climate that can be used to plan and assess our School's long-range plan and our School's diversity initiatives.
- Discover what's been effective for advancing inclusiveness and multiculturalism.
- Build upon identified strengths and identify areas that need more work to ensure steady progress as we work to sustain a multiculturalism, and inclusivity at TCS.
This is an exciting opportunity for the community to offer feedback about perceptions and experiences regarding diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusivity! Climate can be defined as an individual's perception of how he/she exists within the school, including perceptions of routine behavior that affect attitudes, feelings, and behaviors within the context of the school. Climate is also the atmosphere in the school as experienced by individuals who are part of the school community including general health, social well-being, and communication. This is different than culture and inclusivity which is the shared values and beliefs of our school.
