Topeka Collegiate School (TCS) seeks a visionary Head of School to enthusiastically embrace and embody our mission of preparing students for advanced education, successful careers and responsible citizenship through a commitment to academic excellence and humanitarian ideals.

• Oversee and take an active role in the school’s financial growth;

• Lead and mentor educational and administrative staff, including admissions, marketing, public relations and fundraising;

• Ensure that TCS provides a safe, nurturing, respectful and inclusive environment for our scholars and families.

TCS, located in Topeka, Kansas, is a coeducational, junior pre-kindergarten through 8th grade independent school with total enrollment of approximately 240 students. The position, appointed by the Board of Trustees, will be available beginning with the 2011-2012 school year, after our interim Head of School fulfills his two-year commitment. Ideal candidates should have at least five years experience in leadership positions within a school setting. Start date is negotiable. Salary/benefits will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
