Summer Catalog 2008

Topeka Collegiate offers high quality care in a nurturing environment for TCS students and others in the community from Pre-kindergarten to 8th grade.

You may choose to enroll your child in Summer Day Camps, which have weekly themes and field trips to swimming pools, the zoo, and other interesting places. Available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., this is a perfect choice for a parent working full-time who needs quality care for a child throughout the summer months.

You may also choose to enroll your child in any number of age appropriate camps, from sports to art and nature camp, to Pirates, Princess Camp, Bugs, Harry Potter and the Arctic. These camps run for 1-2 weeks for 3 or 6 hours, mornings and afternoons. Summer camps may be combined in any way with day camps to make the summer experience the best it can be for your child.

Our flexible schedule allows you to tailor a summer program that fits your student's interests and your family's schedule. Children can spend the entire summer, a few weeks, or just part of a day at Topeka Collegiate. Topeka Collegiate has offered unique and award-winning summer enrichment programs for the past 21 years. The tradition continues this summer of 2008.

Choose Topeka Collegiate School for your children this summer for a great place to have fun and grow socially, academically and creatively. We look forward to seeing your children in June!

Summer Day Camp

Day camp runs from May to August from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The lead care provider is Angie Swisher. Weekly themes are chosen and art projects, field trips, lessons and movies are planned around these themes each week.

Summer Camps

Whether you have preschoolers who love to "do things", children who thrive on academic challenges, or middle schoolers who want to get a jump on History Day, you will find an activity to their liking at Topeka Collegiate Summer Adventures. All children are welcome regardless of the school they attend.

Summer camps are offered this year beginning on May and ending the week of July 28th. A catalog is published online in March with details of all camps being offered during those weeks. Teachers are typically TCS teachers, local area teachers, parents, people specializing in various areas and are often assisted by TCS middle school students.
